Make your own banana milkshake!

Hey!  Make your own healthy snacks in your blender!  Here's a quick vid on how to brew your own milkshake.
Volume is too low, still working on that.  Enjoy!
If anybody knows how to adjust recording volume on a Samsung s860 or sL620, let me know!  Please!

i bet honey or agave nectar would be a good flavorful option as a sweetener as well.. have you tried either of those? if so, how'd it turn out?

Welcome to the dark side with the vita mix, When Isis bought one I thought what a waste of money as we already had a blender but I have been proven wrong as it rocks!!!! freezing he banana helps with getter better texture is shakes. We always freeze a bunch pre-peeled and sliced in a container in the freezer. also drop in a scoop of protein powder.

My favorite quickie recipe is 1 cup of orange juice, 1 scoop protein powder, some flaxseed oil, ice and small piece of frozen banana.

Thanks for the comments! Agave is great, but grapes are even more raw! Agave has to go through a cooking process.

Drew - yeah, I had no idea how much adding more power and more smoothness to the motor would improve a blender. Easier to clean up, makes the stuff faster... All around awesome.

Loving my Vitamix. I bought a big tub of ground flax and I throw a scoop in all of my smoothies. Another option is buying rolled oats in bulk from the grocery store. The Vitamix pulverizes them into nothing, but the great flavor remains and so does the fiber.

Also, the recipe book that comes with the blender is good. The hummus recipe is spot on.
