The Bamboo Room (Forum) > Props to Zen Tri and Coach Brett

I just finished my first Olympic Distance Triathlon last weekend - what a great experience.

Now that the dust has settled and I have had time to reflect, brag and plan for my next race, I wanted to drop a quick line on this forum to give a huge thanks and public testimony for Coach Brett as a Tri Coach and to the Zen Tri site and community. Surely, without each, I would have suffered an ugly fate last weekend.

For anyone reading this contemplating whether or not to get coached by Brett. Contemplate no longer, do it.

His coaching was aggressive enough to have me perform very well, yet conservative enough to keep me injury free during my entire training period and the race. That, in itself was a main goal of mine -- mission accomplished beautifully.

Coach Brett is knowledgeable about all aspects of triathlon but isn't a braggart or know it all, he understands the trepidation of the newbie and was patient with the 1000's of seemingly silly questions and tribulations and hesitation I threw his way.

Communication was a cinch. His methods for reviewing and updating my plan were easy to follow, clearly laid out and never a mystery as to what was to come. I was well informed of not only the schedule of training, but also the intent for each training session, every step along the way.

Extremely pleased with the services Coach Brett has provided. With many thanks.

Wow! Thanks for the props, Bob. You really rocked that race. In your situation, we had the proper amount of time and you had a very specific goal. You also communicate well, which made it work smoothly.

Congrats and enjoy the glow. :)
