Podcast - The S.O.S. Triathlon 2012

Download the show by clicking here!

Come with us to the S.O.S Triathlon in New Paltz, New York! This is an incredible show, capturing audio from one of the crown jewels of multisport. Listen in as we do an EIGHT STAGE race!

Here is Emily and I at the finish area, with a view of six states at the top.

The race starts off with a 30 mile bike ride, with the last 6 miles climbing up a serious grade.

Then there are seven alternating run-swims, with some fun "crash-into-the-water-and-go" swim starts.

The swim exits are just as entertaining.  Imaging climbing up out of this three different times while running twenty miles on trails!

The last run is only half a mile, but it climbs 700 feet to the peak.  Right about here is where I realized I had 90 seconds left to break the 5.5 hour mark.

The full set of photos can be found here.

More links and fun to come!  Check back over the next few days and enjoy.
